Hello I'm Ellie Geary - a visual artist based in West Yorkshire, UK.

I make sculptural homeware pieces from wood. They are created slowly using hand tools and environmentally-friendly stains and then sealed with multiple layers of a strong, protective finish.

The pieces have a practical function to hold items known only to the eventual owner which appeals to my appreciation of containers as a metaphor for care, mystery and ongoing story.
